Location. The Hilton President Kansas City is located in the business district of downtown Kansas City, Mo., across the street from the H&R Block World Headquarters. The Kansas City Convention Center is within walking distance of the hotel, as are the city's theater, business and financial districts. The immediate neighborhood offers a variety of things to do including visiting historic sites and museums, novelty shops, and public transportation. Lewis & Clark Point, Union Station, Arabia Steamboat Museum, Science City Theater, and the Margaret Kemp Playground are all attractions less than one mile away.
Hotel Features. The hotel serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily at the Walnut Room, which offers American style cuisine. The Drum Room, the hotel's lounge, offers light fare. The hotel has more than 12,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space that can accommodate up to 450 guests. Other amenities include a fitness center with cardiovascular equipment, a health spa, laundry/valet services and valet parking.
Guestrooms. The 213 guestrooms and suites at this 15 story hotel are all newly renovated with interior styling of the 1940s. All beds have 250 thread count sheets. Guest suites include bathrobes and large, flat screen HDTVs. Each guestroom features wired and wireless Internet access, spacious desks with two line phone, coffeemakers, cable television and complimentary weekday newspapers. Room service is also available.
