The European style Vincci Garden Court in Palo Alto, Calif., is conveniently positioned in the city's vibrant downtown area, less than one half mile from the Museum of American Heritage and two miles from Stanford University. Mission San Jose & Museum is within fifteen miles of the property. Airport transportation is available for a fee.
Hotel Features. Tiled walkways, classic columns and a verdant Mediterranean style courtyard grace the property's landscaped grounds. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served at Il Fornaio restaurant, which features a wood fired rotisserie and menu items including gourmet pizzas, fresh pastas, seafood and a revolving selection of meats and poultry. Conference rooms and business services are provided, as is high speed Internet access. Recreational amenities include bicycle rentals and a fitness center.
Guestrooms. The 62 individually appointed guestrooms and suites contain pale wood furnishings, canopied beds, down comforters, arched windows, rich fabrics in harmonizing prints and d�cor in deep rose, tan and spring green. Each includes cable television, VCRs, high speed Internet access and Bose CD radios. Coffeemakers brew Peet's coffee. Private bathrooms feature brass fixtures, Spanish tile and Aveda toiletries. Select accommodations offer wood burning fireplaces, spa tubs and private balconies framing views of the courtyard.
Expert Tip. Guests are invited to a food and wine tasting on Wednesday evenings from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., which features offerings from the property's extensive wine list and banquet menus. Complimentary port service is available each evening.
