Location. Gran Hotel Spa Playabella overlooks the beach and the Mediterranean and is located in the seaside resort of Cancelada, Spain, which is 12 kilometres from the city of Estepona.
Hotel Features. This four storey hotel set in sub tropical gardens has modern Spanish architecture, and is painted in pastel colours. Beauty services and massage treatments are available at the hotel spa. The hotel offers a kids' club and a teens' club, babysitting is available, and evening entertainment is also provided for adults. There is a hair salon, and a giftshop and newsstand on site, and multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk can offer currency exchange. Internet access is available in public areas (surcharge).
Restaurant El Ancla serves Mediterranean dishes in a contemporary setting with swimming pool views, and there is a baby corner with a microwave and refrigerator for baby food. La Grappa Restaurant serves an � la carte Italian menu, and The Beach Club, open in summer, is on the beach and serves fish, paella, and salads. A complimentary buffet breakfast is provided daily. The all inclusive rate incorporates breakfast, tapas snacks at lunchtime, dinner, and soft drinks, beer, and wine. The full board rate includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the half board rate includes breakfast and lunch or dinner.
There is an outdoor swimming pool with rock features, surrounded by palm trees, a spa tub, and a sun terrace. There is also a children's pool and an indoor pool, a gym with fitness equipment, bowls, miniature golf, archery, and rifle shooting on site.
Guestrooms. The 265 guestrooms have contemporary decor and furnishings, bright fabrics, and balconies or terraces. All are equipped with satellite television, climate control, and ceiling fans. Other standard amenities include safes, minibars, and hair dryers. The hotel offers an all inclusive, full board, and half board rates.
